ODL - First call off under the alliance with Aker BP

Reference is made to the drilling and wells alliance with Aker BP announced on 21 November 2017.

Odfjell Drilling is pleased to inform that the first call-off under the alliance has been received today. The call-off covers a 12 months contract for Deepsea Stavanger and will start as soon as the unit returns to Norway after its contract with Total in South Africa, expected to be in Q2 2019.

The firm contract value is approximately USD 105 million excluding potential performance bonuses.

ODL - Odfjell Well Services secures long term contract in Kuwait

Odfjell Well Services has signed a contract with Kuwait Oil Company (KOC) to provide tubular running services, downhole drilling tools, drillpipe, pressure control and wellbore clean up equipment for all KOC drilling and workover operations.

Odfjell Well Services is one of three successful bidders selected to provide these services both onshore and offshore. Currently there are over 120 rigs working onshore in Kuwait, however this is expected to increase significantly during 2018.

The firm duration of the contract is 5 years, based on call off services and is expected to commence in January 2018.

Kuwait is currently one of the largest growing markets in the world and this contract assures our position as one of the leading service companies in the region for many years to come."

Skal levere brønntjenester i et verdens raskest voksende markeder. Odfjell Well Services, et av Odfjell Drillings fire forretningsområder, har inngått en kontrakt med Kuwait Oil Company (KOC) om å levere brønntjenester.

Kontrakten har en varighet på fem år, basert på "call-off"-tjenester, og har ventet oppstart i januar 2018.

ODL - Statoil exercises second option in Deepsea Bergen's drilling contract

Reference is made to the stock exchange notice from 31 May 2017 whereby Statoil awarded Deepsea Bergen a new drilling contract. The contract originally included one firm well plus 4 x 3 optional wells.

Odfjell Drilling is pleased to inform that Statoil today has exercised the second of four options. The option is for three wells with an estimated duration of 75 days. Option two will follow back to back with previously announced option one. The contract value is as previously notified.
