PCI Biotech Holding ASA (PCIB) is a cancer focused biopharmaceutical company developing therapeutic products based on its proprietary photochemical internalization (PCI) technology. The PCI technology works by inducing triggered endosomal release and may be used to unlock the true therapeutic potential of a wide array of modalities. One bile duct cancer study is currently in clinical development. The company is also developing PCI as a CTL induction technology for therapeutic and prophylactic vaccination.

Siste nytt fra PCI Biotech - hegnar.no

PCI Biotech har ifølge en melding nådd en felles forståelse med European Medicines Agency (EMA) og U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) rundt de regulatoriske omstendighetene knyttet til utviklingen av produktet fimaporfin.

Godt å være på et seriøst forum igjen. Savner Snøffelen som var en særdeles kunnskapsrik bidragsyter på det gamle Hegnar forum. Med det nye Hegnar forum er all seriøsitet forsvunnet. Jeg håper virkelig de gamle gode bidragsyterne kommer hit. Jeg skal bidra med det som kan være av interesse og følger spesielt med på Radforsk podcast og Jonas Einarsson.

Neste radforsk podcast som spilles inn 9de januar vil nok i stor grad omhandle Pcib-meldingen.
Ikke bare betyr meldingen en raskere vei til markedet, men slik jeg ser det betyr den også vesentlig de-risking og et startskudd for store aktører til å entre banen.
Jeg aner ikke hvor haren hopper fra dag til dag, men på lang sikt har jeg hevet mitt personlige kursmål betraktelig.

PCI Biotech: Extension of preclinical research collaboration agreement with a top-10 large pharma company

Oslo (Norway), 18 January 2018 - PCI Biotech (OSE: PCIB), a cancer focused
biopharmaceutical company today announced that they are extending the
preclinical research collaboration with an undisclosed top-10 pharma company,
initiated in September 2015. The extended evaluation period spans over 6 months,
until the end of June 2018, and may be further extended.

The pharma company is one of the global leaders in nucleic acid therapeutics.
The aim of the extension is to further evaluate the synergistic effects of both
parties' technology platforms and to determine whether PCI Biotech's fimaNAc
technology has the potential to enhance the therapeutic effect of the partner's
nucleic acid therapeutic compounds. The companies will evaluate the data
generated in this research collaboration and explore the potential for a further
partnership based on this outcome.
